26/02/2021: Lunar New year marks the beginning of the Spring season. The Spring Lantern Festival marks the final day of these festivities. The lanterns symbolise people letting go of the past year and welcoming the new year with good fortune.
Lanterns are hung from Lunar New Year’s Eve until the end of the Festival.
