Inspiration | Crystal of Light

22/11/2021: We recently came across Tokujin Yoshioka's "Crystal of Light" installation in Ginza Station. The sculpture is created with 636 uniquely faceted glass crystals and the position of each crystal is based on the map of the world with the aim of expressing "the world with light".

Tokujin Yoshioka's work encompasses the fields of design, architecture and contemporary art, and he is mostly known for his poetic work themed on light.

"Crystal of Light" is a permanent installation and can be found in Tokyo Metro Ginza Station exit B6.
