In tune with the simplicity of the scheme, and to keep both capital and operational costs low, the exterior lighting is also minimal. An important factor, however, was to make the approach to the building warm and welcoming after dark.

We designed the interior and exterior lighting for Maggie's London, collaborating with architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
In tune with the simplicity of the scheme, and to keep both capital and operational costs low, the exterior lighting is also minimal. An important factor, however, was to make the approach to the building warm and welcoming after dark.
Louis Poulsen fittings were used throughout for their style, quality and performance. We balanced lighting and task lighting carefully, an approach comparable to a residential design project.
Additional linear up/downlighting is used in the first-floor administration areas, providing both task lighting and a glow to the elegant floating roof. The building is very sustainable with extensive use of natural daylight and low energy sources.
