Speirs Major

I studied Architectural Environment Engineering at the University of Nottingham in Ningbo China where I developed an appreciation for how lighting maximises opportunities for social activities. I went on to study Light and Lighting at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL.

I worked in lighting design for 4 years before joining Speirs Major Light Architecture in 2023. I have since worked on retail and public realm schemes in Hong Kong and Australia. I am particularly interested in façade projects with a passion for design concepts.

I am originally from the Northeast of China and am fluent in English and Mandarin.
