Tom Hartshorne
Lead Visualiser
I completed a BA in Industrial Design & Technology with a Diploma of Professional Studies at Loughborough University before moving to Mexico for five years. Whilst there, I worked as a computer modeller where his role progressed to not only include modelling, but lighting, rendering, animation and postproduction through which I developed a sensitivity to and respect for light.
I moved back to the UK to further explore and understand the artistic and emotional effect of well-designed lighting and joined Speirs Major in 2012. I've been fortunate to work on many of the Studio's most renowned projects including; Battersea Power Station, the Macallan Distillery, the King's Cross Central development and the Olympic Way development in Wembley.
During my time at Speirs Major I've foudn the innovative and open work environment allows me to continuously develop and implement creative solutions as well as collaborate with a team of like-minded professionals.
